Letter From PTO President
Happy Holidays to each of you!! Like many of you, I cannot believe we are well into our second 9 weeks of school, and Thanksgiving is around the corner!! I invite you to join us at the Chorus Concert, Fall Book Fair and several other events occurring during the next few weeks. Please read the calendar of events for the specific dates and times.
As the school year progressed, several of you donated your time for the Fall School Picture Day and the Vision and Hearing screening. By the end of October, many of Riverview’s academic programs are continuing to run smoothly such as Math Superstars, Accelerated Reading and the Behavior Bucks store. Of course, this could not have been done as successfully without parental help and support. However, the Parent Teacher Organization can always use more volunteers to continue these programs and a variety of others; please contact us if you are interested. Also, be looking for information as the PTO starts preparing for the Second Annual Spring Dinner and Variety Show. Remember that volunteering is fun, rewarding and crucial to keeping our students and their learning environment successful. In addition, the children love to see us involved! Thanks again; your time is greatly appreciated!
