Letter From The President Welcome back to school! Like many of you, I’ve enjoyed seeing plenty of familiar faces and an abundance of friendly new ones, too!!

Because each of you have children enrolled at Riverview, you are automatically members of the Parent Teacher Organization. As members, I invite you to join us at the numerous events occurring throughout the year. Please read the calendar of events for the specific dates and times.

At the beginning of August, several volunteers helped prepare a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, deliver school supply packs before Meet the Teacher night, open the Shuttle Shop and produce Rocket Power. By the end of August many academic programs like Behavior Bucks, Math Superstars and Accelerated Reading were up and running smoothly. These wonderful programs are successful because of parental help and support. However, we can always use more volunteers to continue these programs and a variety of others; please contact us if you are interested. Volunteering is fun, rewarding and crucial to keeping our students and their learning environment successful. In addition, the children love to see us involved!
